The Panama avocado growers community started 8 years ago when a few innovative and gutsy farmers decided to create avocado plantations in the Panama highlands. There, a unique ecosystem allows for plenty of natural rain that provides the required amount of water for the proper growing conditions. This group of farmers decided to create an association to help them market their products and represent them at local and internationnal levels. And that's how the APRAP (Associacion de productores de aguate de Panama) got started.

The potential that Panama offers to avocado growers is unlimited and the conditions are truly ideal. We hope that you will enjoy our products as we are excited to continue on developing our growing base of producers.
